On-line Auction Benefits River Protection Efforts

River Runners for Wilderness announces our on-line auction at http://www.rrfw.org from noon Mountain Standard time, Wednesday December 1, to midnight Mountain Standard time, Sunday December 5, 2004.

Auction items include river gear, rafts and inflatables, a raft rental, river art, river books, clothing, and much, much more. Point your web browser to www.rrfw.org and click on the "auction" link to check out the deals! We will continue to add great stuff right up to the start of the auction.

You can get your favorite river gear while helping lead the fight for river protection and equitable access, with your participation. RRFW is nationally recognized as the strongest voice for preservation of our country's wilderness rivers and equitable access, including for the Colorado River in Grand Canyon.

Our all-volunteer grassroots advocacy activities include travels across the country to present slideshows on wilderness river protection, for legislator education in Washington DC, and representing you at river management and wilderness meetings country wide. Ongoing are several innovative RRFW campaigns, such as the Grand Canyon Wilderness Campaign, the Paddle the Plan Campaign, and our highly acclaimed iFilm to encourage vast public participation in Grand Canyon's Colorado River Management Plan-you can see it at www.ifilms.tv/rr/. Our robust communication efforts include our RRFW newsletters, informational mailings and meeting handouts, and frequent e-mail alerts of the latest river information through our free RRFW Riverwire service.

If you have an item you would like to contribute to the auction, email us at info@rrfw.org. Your donation is tax deductible. Thanks and happy bidding!
